Eight-year-old Gram lives with his Grandparent's on the old apple farm at the edge of Anytown, USA. Summer is fun with swimming and fishing in the river, but everyone is looking forward to the Labor Day Rodeo Celebration. Gram is excited because this is the first year he has been old enough to ride in the Grand Opening Cowboy Parade. Ole' Bo, the retired apple wagon horse, is still young enough to ride.
