| Accommodations: |
|
Anytown Kids Ranch is ideal for school
groups. There are plenty of spaces for gatherings both
inside and out. Activity areas, campfire pit, Music Hall
Theater, and patio offer a variety of accommodation. Spacious
living areas and a cozy library provide quiet locations
for students to relax after a day of outdoor adventure.
Guest accommodations in the main Lodge
and Dorm buildings are available per night or for longer
stay by reservations. Bunk-style accommodations include
large single-gender dorms and smaller group rooms. Theme
accommodations have shared bathrooms, while Cabins and
Wagon Train Bunks share gender assigned showers and bathrooms.
Guests must bring their own personal items, sleeping bags
or bedding. Forgotten items can be purchased at the Mercantile
or rented from the Ranch Office.
Professional chefs with student volunteers
cook hearty meals that are served family style in the
Cook House. For daytime activities guests prepare their
own carry out brown-bag lunches from plentiful and varied
ingredients. Vegetarian options are available for all
meals. Friendly helpers serve special guests as needed.
To maintain the communal spirit in which the Ranch was
fashioned, each guest pitches in daily by doing a simple
chore.
